I got stabbed while I wasn't looking

For those of you who know me you know that I've had a difficult two weeks. Well this is the result of ONE of those difficulties.
I was verbally abused by one of my former friends/roommates. She called me lazy and a slob. After I packed up all my stuff I took pictures of her "clean" house that I had the nerve to live in. Please enjoy :)
This is the piles of crap that had been sitting in the corner of her house for a couple of weeks.

The hallway between the "guest" bedroom, babys room, and her room". This is actually fairly clean. But the pile of clothes had been there for over two weeks.

Her bedroom. She and her husband have been staying with his family so their bed is gone but everything else remains.

Their closet. Her clothes are gone but his are all still there. Piles of who knows what. . .

The piles of stuff all over their bedroom floor. This, again, is relatively clean.

This room pisses me off the most. It's the babys room. Her clothes are everywhere, toys, and week old diapers that haven't been thrown out.

The babys closet. Seems very safe for a year and a half year old to be playing near doesn't it?

This is the "guest" bedroom. Basically it's the room the homeowners would stay in when their room got too messy to sleep in, which was usually a weekly occurrence.

Another view of the "guest" bedroom. Looks welcoming and comfy right?

This is a divider by the kitchen and, as you can see, the highchair. It's always completely packed with crap.

The chemicals on the counter near the fruit.

You can't really tell but there is another pile of cleaners and chemicals, with some baby clothes behind them. . .

The coat closet.

Moral of the story? Don't use, mistreat, and verbally abuse your tenants. Who's the slob now?

Japan joy!

For two semesters I've been trying to do a study abroad in Japan that Snow College has available. The only problem is they can only send 2 people and 4 people are wanting to go. I've been teasing my Sensei that he should send me as one, for sure, considering Japanese is my major and also that I'm his favorite. Tonight he finally caved! Sensei told me that I'm one of his choices to go to Japan!!!
Sadly it's not a for sure thing yet. The final decision is still up to Diane in the International Exchange office but if Jeff Sensei is pushing for me to go I think my chances are better. I'm so happy!
I took this picture soon after finding out, to show the joy I have. Hope you all like it :)

I had a great day.
